Two events — the II Fórum Mulheres de Impressão and the III International Graphic Seminar — showcased Brazil’s leadership, creativity, and collaborative spirit in the evolving world of print.

Brazil’s Print Community Shines Bright
Brazil’s print industry is having a moment. From the vibrant energy of João Pessoa to the creative pulse of Rio de Janeiro, two recent gatherings proved how innovation, inclusion and craftsmanship continue to thrive. Both events — distinct in focus but united in purpose — reflected a growing commitment to elevate print through collaboration, technology and human connection.

Celebrating Women Who Lead and Inspire

The II Fórum Mulheres de Impressão 2025, held September 25–26 in João Pessoa, Paraíba, once again proved the strength and unity of women leading the printing industry in Brazil. Nearly 300 professionals — including entrepreneurs, executives, and creatives — came together at Teatro Pedra do Reino and Maralto Eventos for two unforgettable days of inspiration, learning and celebration.
With the theme “First Sun, First Voice,” the forum paid tribute to João Pessoa’s symbolism as the easternmost point of the Americas — the place where the sun rises first — and to the women who are lighting the way for a more inclusive and innovative future. The event celebrated ancestry, leadership, and the power of women who lead with purpose and authenticity.
The program featured renowned speakers covering themes that blend business and personal growth, including leadership in male-dominated spaces, innovation, customer experience and access to resources for women entrepreneurs. Talks from leaders like Carol Romano, Thaís Reali, Maíra Blasi, Flávia Davidovici, Nathália Coelho (FIRJAN), Rafaelly Fortunato (FINEP), and Maíra Rodrigues (APEX Brasil) connected ideas across generations and sectors.
Beyond the sessions, the atmosphere of the forum was vibrant and empowering, with immersive experiences, sensory activations, shared meals and a closing cocktail that celebrated collaboration, sisterhood and achievement. Every detail — from the Michelin-starred chef Onildo Rocha’s signature menu to the premium welcome kits — reinforced the sense of care and pride behind the movement.
Mulheres de Impressão has become a national movement that continues to grow, connecting and uplifting women in an industry historically dominated by men. The movement is strengthening women’s presence in the printing industry — a sector historically marked by male predominance. The 2025 edition solidified that this is not just about gender representation — it’s about influence, impact and legacy.
Dscoop is proud to be a supporting organization in this powerful initiative and to support community, collaboration and inclusion in Brazil and beyond.

Innovation and Collaboration Take Center Stage in Rio

In Rio de Janeiro, the III International Graphic Seminar – “Behind Every Page, a World of Connections,, organized by Firjan SENAI SESI, brought together professionals from Brazil and abroad to discuss how innovation, technology, and collaboration are shaping the future of print.
Throughout the day, writers, publishers, educators and print professionals shared insights on how the book industry continues to evolve while maintaining its cultural and economic relevance. Conversations focused on the synergy between print and digital, the growing demand for personalization, and the importance of sustainable and efficient production in a rapidly changing market.
Experts highlighted that the global publishing market is expected to keep expanding through 2030, with Brazil maintaining a solid position among the leading countries. Despite the growth of digital formats, print remains strong, reflecting readers’ continued appreciation for the tactile and sensory experience of books.
The event reinforced that innovation in the printing sector goes beyond technology — it also connects creativity, craftsmanship, and knowledge sharing. By fostering collaboration between the editorial and graphic worlds, the seminar celebrated print as a powerful medium that continues to inspire, inform, and connect communities around the world.
