The concept for Dscoop's exciting Print Pride program was borne from the community’s passion for sharing their best work with one another.
While creating the agenda for the 2023 Dscoop Bali Summit, a group of Dscoop APJ volunteers thought it would be fun and informative to invite attendees to bring and discuss their best HP-produced work. We did just that, and several Bali attendees added great projects into their travel suitcases.
We displayed those pieces on a table for all to see. That table became an epicenter of curiosity and conversation: What was the customer's main challenge? What key decisions led to a successful project?
Print Pride helped to underscore the themes of collaboration and openness among printers in the Dscoop community, so we decided to keep the initiative going. "We wanted something real — a space where members could inspire and learn from each other," said Laurensius Candra, a Dscoop APJ Board Member from Indonesia who helped start Print Pride.
Here's a rundown on Print Pride, followed by an announcement of this year's 3 winners.

What is Print Pride?

The Print Pride Awards are a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and innovation within the Dscoop community — a recognition by Dscoop, for Dscoop. Now in its third year, this member-driven initiative honors exceptional print work produced on HP Indigo presses. The display and discussion of Print Pride Award-winning projects are opportunities for members to come together to share, learn and take pride in the power of print.

Who Votes for Winners?

Unlike traditional awards, Print Pride doesn’t rely on panels or formal judging. There's no submission form. Members simply bring their most creative printed pieces to live events and share their story. Entries are displayed in an open ‘marketplace’ setting, where peers can walk around, connect and vote for the pieces that inspire them most.

How Has Print Pride Evolved?

The Print Pride showcase has become a signature moment at multiple Dscoop events. Printers gather around tables, admire each other’s work, and exchange stories about materials, finishing and design choices. In 2025, during the Dscoop Bangkok Summit, the format evolved even further. We brought the microphone directly to each table, inviting participants to share what they brought and why. The result was spontaneous, inspiring and deeply personal — a true reflection of what Dscoop stands for.

What's New About Print Pride in 2025?

This year marked an exciting milestone for Print Pride! For the first time, winners received a beautifully designed trophy, an official certificate of recognition and a free ticket to attend Dscoop Edge 2026 — in either Denver, USA, or Slovenia — where their winning projects will be showcased on a global stage. Also, to reflect the growing prestige of the program, we also introduced a new Print Pride identity and logo — a bold golden mark symbolizing creativity, unity and pride within the Dscoop community.
