Müller Martini Connects the Finishing Workflow

For Rudolf Staffler of Müller Martini, Edge Slovenia offered an opportunity to reconnect with longtime industry colleagues while showing how finishing fits into an increasingly connected digital production environment. Rudolf recently returned to Müller Martini after eight years working in automation and robotics, bringing experience across offset, prepress, automation, and IT to a company focused on integrated print finishing and digital transformation.

He also pointed to the importance of Müller Martini and Hunkeler working alongside HP as digital production continues to evolve. That collaboration became tangible during a customer demonstration held around Edge Slovenia. Rudolf described showing attendees a connected workflow that moved from roll to roll, roll to stack, and stack into the binding machine, giving visitors a chance to see how different technologies can work together across production.

For Rudolf, that technical integration and the relationships surrounding it are closely connected. He spoke warmly about seeing colleagues he has known for more than 20 years and the opportunity to “take over information and share it.”
