Global Online Sustainability Summit: Insights, Tools and Real-World Strategies
The 2025 Global Online Sustainability Summit brought together Dscoop members across regions for a comprehensive, honest examination of sustainability in the digital print industry. Designed with two regional sessions — APJ and Americas/EMEA — the event made space for every corner of the community to participate in frank discussions about customer expectations, regulatory pressures and what meaningful sustainability progress looks like today.
Across all sessions, one theme repeated: Print providers are moving beyond intention and into measurable, everyday action.
Below are videos of the sessions, giving you a one-stop resource for tips and tools that can help your sustainability journey:

5 Print Leaders Discuss Their Sustainability Paths Forward

Leaders from SunDance, The Bernard Group, RPI, Vomela and Precision Proco share a candid look at where their sustainability efforts stand and what’s shaping their next steps. Across regions, customers are demanding more transparency and measurable action, prompting many PSPs to accelerate internal collaboration and rethink how sustainability fits into everyday operations. Others are maintaining a steady pace, balancing ambition with economic pressures, material constraints and shifting regulations. All agree that shared learning within the Dscoop community is helping them navigate challenges and move toward more responsible, future-ready print practices.

Sustainability: Customer Demand & Market Reality

Canva’s Emma Russell and Vomela’s Lou Raiola explain how sustainability expectations from global brands are becoming far more detailed and data-driven. The session highlights how material transparency, emissions data and waste-reduction practices are now influencing partner selection. Both speakers emphasize that progress, not perfection, is what brands want to see — as long as it’s measurable and consistently reported. For PSPs, embedding sustainability into everyday operations is essential for staying competitive and strengthening long-term customer relationships.

APJ Print Leaders Share Candid Perspectives on Their Sustainability Journeys

Print leaders from Goof Inc., Finsbury Green, Thai Nam Poly Pack Co. and EPL Limited share candid updates on where their sustainability efforts stand — from accelerating investments to holding steady while markets stabilize. They discuss how customer expectations, cost pressures and material availability shape the pace of progress. Despite different starting points, they agree that small, consistent wins in efficiency and waste reduction are building real momentum. The conversation underscores the value of learning together through the Dscoop community, where shared knowledge helps everyone move forward faster.

How HP’s Sustainability Amplifier Program Works

HP’s Sustainability Amplifier Program gives print providers a practical, data-driven way to strengthen their sustainability efforts. Through a free self-assessment inside PrintOS, PSPs can benchmark their current performance and receive tailored recommendations for reducing waste, improving efficiency and documenting progress. Participants gain access to tools, training and resources, plus HP Sustainability Badges that help them communicate achievements to customers. With more than 700 users already involved, the program is helping print businesses move from intention to action.

Why Sustainable Chemistry Matters

Sun Chemical’s Viviane Ramsey shares a clear-eyed look at how sustainable chemistry is reshaping print production. She explains how Sun Chemical evaluates materials, ensures regulatory readiness and designs solutions that lower environmental impact without sacrificing performance. Ramsey encourages printers to focus on practical, step-by-step improvements — reducing waste, improving efficiency and choosing safer ink and coating options. Her message is simple: meaningful sustainability progress becomes far more achievable when PSPs lean on expert partners and build change into everyday decision-making.
