Stressed? Need Some Balance? You're Not Alone! New Group Forming to Help

A new, grassroots group is forming in the Dscoop global community with this vision: By sharing personal experiences, gaining insight from psychologists and other experts, and fostering a supportive community, we all can learn new, healthy, meaningful ways to navigate our personal and professional challenges.

Everyone is invited to the first online meeting July 25.

The group plans to ...

1. Emphasize the universal importance of mental health and wellness, and debunk myths and stigmas
2. Discuss how personal and professional challenges can manifest in many ways
3. Learn proven strategies for working toward wellness, resilience, leadership, work/life balance and other topics, guided by psychologists and other field experts
4. Support one another through sharing, resources and connections

Dscoopers David Rosendahl of MindFire, Chris Minn of Infigo, Jessica DeCola of GPA and Jon Bailey of Precision Proco are collaborating to spearhead the effort. Jon's speech at Edge Indy was a catalyst for their initiative, and together they're partnering with credentialed psychology and counseling experts and professional organizations that can provide helpful knowledge for the group.

"While achieving corporate goals are important," the four Dscoopers collectively said, "we all agree that even if we can 'reach the one,' making a difference in the life of a single individual, this initiative will be worth it."
