That mindset has helped the Germany-based company serve a diverse range of industries, from beverage brands to technical manufacturers, without missing a beat. The company delivers beautifully designed labels across markets as varied as beer, cosmetics, chemistry and nutritional supplements.
etikette.de has invested heavily in technology to keep pace with customer demands, and HP Indigo presses allow his team to produce high-quality labels in short runs while still maintaining cost efficiency. “We can do more variations, more SKUs, more premium finishes,” he says. “That’s what gives our customers a competitive edge on the shelf.”
The company’s agility also extends to its customer relationships. James notes the importance of guiding clients through the creative and technical aspects of label production. “If a customer has an idea but doesn’t know how to make it work, our team helps find the right materials, design tweaks and print techniques to make it happen," he says.
That approach fits well with his deep involvement in the Dscoop community. James says learning from other business leaders and seeing what’s working in other markets has been critical for etikett.de’s evolution. “This community has had a big impact on me over the years — through conversations, shared challenges, and the kind of connections that stick. So taking on this role feels like a great opportunity to give something back and help move things forward."
