Automation has steadily become one of the most important conversations in the print industry, and now Dscoop is creating a dedicated home for it. During a kickoff webinar introducing the new Dscoop Automation Club, leaders from across the global community outlined a vision focused on helping members move faster with integration, workflow development, AI adoption and software-driven productivity.
The idea for the club grew out of years of momentum surrounding Hackathons and automation-focused conversations at Dscoop Edge events. That momentum accelerated significantly at Edge Rockies in 2026, where interest in automation and AI reached a new level. Organizers described the new club as a community built around shared learning and practical problem-solving, with members collaborating on real operational challenges rather than gathering for product pitches or software demonstrations.
Club leaders emphasized that the mission goes beyond technology alone. The broader goal is helping digital print businesses improve productivity, profitability and scalability by learning from one another and sharing proven automation strategies. Topics are expected to include APIs, integrations, robotics, workflow optimization, AI tools and emerging software ecosystems across the print industry.
During a live audience poll at the kickoff webinar, participants showed especially strong interest in seeing real-world examples of how print service providers are using automation today to streamline operations, create efficiencies and open new revenue opportunities.
