The level of openness and idea-sharing in the global Dscoop community is inspiring! In October 2023, Dscoopers Shivam Hora and Pradeep Hora of Hora Art Centre Pvt. Ltd., flew from India to Ontario, Canada, to meet with fellow Dscoopers at Rootree. The Horas wanted to explore cutting-edge pouch-making technologies, and had learned about Rootree through Dscoop. Meanwhile, their colleague and fellow family member Ramneek Hora flew to Geostick in the Netherlands to learn how the company, which produces self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging products, has consistently maintained a reputation for excellence in the printing and packaging industry.

Rootree Visit: 'I Couldn't Help But Feel a Sense of Awe'

I was thrilled and honored to be a part of an eye-opening journey to Rootree in Ontario, Canada. Together with Mr. Pradeep Hora, we embarked on this adventure to explore the cutting-edge pouch making technologies that Rootree has become famous for.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by Mr. Phil St.-Cyr, the visionary CEO of Rootree, and his dedicated team. The air was filled with anticipation as we eagerly looked forward to delving deep into Rootree's advanced printing and packaging technologies.

Rootree's commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices truly impressed us. They showcased their state-of-the-art pouch-making technologies, which have garnered significant recognition within the industry. Witnessing their dedication to producing eco-friendly packaging solutions was truly inspiring.

Throughout our visit, Mr. Phil and his team took the time to explain every aspect of their innovative pouch making process. We were given an in-depth understanding of their HP Indigo 25K Digital Presses. The attention to detail and precision with every step, from printing to laminating, and from cutting to sealing, was truly remarkable.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as I witnessed the seamless integration of technology and craftsmanship at Rootree. The level of expertise and professionalism displayed by the team was second to none. Their dedication to quality and their drive to push the boundaries of what is possible in the printing and packaging industry left a lasting impression on us.

The cross-continental collaboration between Hora Art Centre and Rootree has opened up exciting possibilities for future partnerships. We are eager to implement the knowledge and insights gained from this visit into our own operations in India.
