Turning Tragedy into Transformation at K. Sidrane

When Hurricane Sandy hit in 2012, K. Sidrane, a third-generation family-run business on Long Island, was devastated. The storm flooded their facility with four feet of water, destroying all their presses and halting operations for months. But instead of folding, the team saw an opportunity to rebuild stronger — and reimagine their future.

In this interview with Dscoop's Chris Hyde, Chief Operating Officer Michael Liff shares how that blank slate became a springboard into digital. With the support of HP and other vendor partners, the company recommitted to growth, moving into a space three times larger and investing in digital technology.

Michael also reflects on the power of community, both within his company and in the Dscoop ecosystem.
