We have just wrapped up the very first Dscoop Summit in Latin America — a milestone that the team had been working on for months. From choosing the theme and topics to securing the venue, lining up speakers and creating experiences, it was a huge responsibility. After all, an event like this has to bring value to everyone involved — members, channel partners, partners and the broader community.
We chose the theme “Outside the Box” as an invitation for our members in the region to think differently, act differently and discover new possibilities. And it worked.
From an unexpected venue — the stunning Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín — to unique cultural experiences like Trova paisa, a colorful Chiva bus ride, and a live graffiti performance, every detail reflected creativity and connection. Add to that the vibrant spirit of Latin America (because let’s be honest, Latinos really know how to have fun), and the gathering turned into something unforgettable.
The program brought together outstanding speakers and panelists from Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, the United States, Spain, and Argentina. Attendees came not only from those countries, but also from Venezuela, Panama, Chile, Puerto Rico, Germany, and Denmark. What a beautiful mix of perspectives and experiences.
But beyond the food (delicious), coffee (tasty), weather (perfect), and people (so welcoming), the true highlight was the community. More than 100 members came together with a shared goal: to connect, learn, and build lasting memories. The result? Two days full of energy, inspiration, and a powerful sense of belonging.
That’s the essence of Dscoop: a global community of HP users who may sometimes be competitors, but who are united by the desire to collaborate, grow, and make the industry better.
When asked about the summit, attendees’ testimonies gave me goosebumps. They all pointed to the same thing: networking. Because that’s what Dscoop is all about — creating spaces for collaboration that lead to real growth.
The debut of Dscoop in Latin America reminded us what this community is all about: connections that last beyond an event. To those new to the community: welcome to the family. To those who have been with us along the way: thank you for walking this journey with us!
¡Gracias, Medellín!
