Understanding Scope 1, 2 & 3 Emissions, Definitions and Accounting Basics

This session will be an overview of the Greenhouse Gas protocol and review of the definitions of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Participants will understand what emissions fall within each scope and typical methods for accounting as well as understanding what does and doesn’t need to be included in a greenhouse gas inventory.
