This roundtable brings together the three panelists featured in Dscoop's Integration Series: Kyle Pendley of Arizona State University's Print and Imaging Lab, Erwin Driever of Cober Solutions, and Jay Harris and Jesse Brooks of Peczuh Printing. Greg Young of Infigo and Peter van Teeseling of Dscoop host the conversation.

Each leader runs a different kind of print business, at a different scale, and each faced the same problem once the storefront went live. Kyle's self-funded university lab processes 4,000 to 5,000 orders a year across 70 products, competing for every order with no internal mandate, and is two years into connecting Infigo to its MIS. Erwin's team at Cober built a nine-person technology group and a proprietary job tracking system to run 60 storefronts and 350 publications a month. Jay and Jesse manage 22 B2B storefronts from opposite coasts, including a portal serving 141 hospitals, and spent two years migrating one major client without disrupting service.

All three describe the same pattern. Automation solves one problem and the bottleneck moves, usually to finishing. And all three name the same constraint: the people who understand both systems well enough to make them talk to each other.
