Real tactics, real numbers. Hosts share one thing they’ve actually implemented and what it changed, not the concept.
Everyone is talking about AI and automation. Far fewer print businesses say what they actually did with it. This session is for exactly that: one real thing put in place, what it changed, and what did not work. Open Doors is a monthly online series from Dscoop EMEA for people running HP Industrial Print. There are no slides and no sales pitch, and stories are shared without filters.
Who you will hear from
- Manuel Stefan (Elanders, Dscoop EMEA board) hosts and opens with a Raw Take: one real challenge and one real win, unscripted.
- Matthias Foag, CIO at Elanders Germany. He looks after IT for a large German print and logistics group, so he sees automation from the whole-business side: systems, data and the people who have to use them.
- Simon Chandler, IT & Systems Manager at Baker Labels (UK). He works inside a family-run label printer, where the question is what actually helps on the floor and in the office, in a hands-on way.
- Bert Van der Perre, VP/GM Labels & Packaging at Hybrid Software (Belgium). He leads the labels and packaging division of a software company that makes workflow and automation tools for the industry. He started in support, quality assurance and product management, then moved into sales, so he knows both the technology and what printers ask of it.
More panelists may still join. Anyone who wants to add their own experience can do so in the open panel.
How it works: the Raw Take comes first, then an open panel where you can join in as a peer or just listen. It ends with The Match, short 1:1 breakouts with another printer facing the same questions. You are welcome to come for part of it.
