At 16 years old, he had an opportunity to do IT work for a family business. Once the family business was sold he was interviewed by the purchasing company, Salem One, and was hired part-time to their IT staff. At Salem One, Andrew has become the Security Systems Administrator, helping lead the company’s security profile, SOC 2 Type 2 audits, monthly network audits, ongoing security updates and interfacing with vendors to ensure their compliance. At school, Andrew is a campus leader within the Office of Alumni Engagement and is the President and Founder of the Future Alumni Network. He is a proud Eagle Scout, and for his project he engineered a 40-foot bridge to help enclose a circle on a local trail at an art museum in Winston-Salem, NC.
