Ask Rosemarie Breske Garvey what makes someone an innovator in print, and her answer is both simple and powerful: “An innovator is someone who isn’t afraid to try.”
That courage has guided Blooming Color’s evolution over the past decade. Today, her team supports some of the world’s biggest creative e-commerce brands, shipping thousands of orders daily. “The growth from 2020 to 2025 is crazy,” she said. “The volume required is unreal, and we’re fortunate we learned how to scale early. We were ready when the moment came.”
Rosemarie's path into print began in 2012, when she attended her first Dscoop event in Nashville. At the time, she had just left a career in banking — where relationships were fleeting and competition was fierce.
The openness and generosity she found at Dscoop stunned her. “I hadn’t been in print very long, and I literally had to call back and ask what press we had,” she said. “But people were proud of what they were doing. They wanted to share. And that changed everything for me.”
Rosemarie has stayed involved ever since, and says Dscoop’s biggest value is its authenticity. “People aren’t just talking about what works. They’re talking about what didn’t work, too. That kind of humility is rare. But it’s how we all get better.”
Her favorite reminder hangs in the Blooming Color office: "Be Better." “It’s not about being perfect," she said. "It’s about being better — better than yesterday, better than 10 minutes ago. That’s what we aim for.”
This year at Edge Long Beach, she returns not only as a conference committee member but also as a main-stage MC, where she’ll bring her signature warmth and wit.
She's especially excited about the educational tracks. “There’s more intention and structure this year,” she said. “From AI and automation to production and innovation, the content is better than ever.”
