In one of the oldest and most sacred cities in India, Dscoop hosted a vibrant gathering of print leaders for the North and East Region Meet, drawing participants from across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and beyond. Held March 22 at Hotel Clarks in Varanasi, the event carried the theme “Business Expansion and Extension is the Key to Growth,” with a clear mission: equip print entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools and connections to expand their product lines, enter new markets and sell on value rather than price.
With strong support from the HP India team, the Dscoop India Board and the North Subcommittee, this regional event was purposefully scheduled right after the Holi festival to offer members both business value and cultural immersion. About 30 participants attended, representing a close-knit group of owners and partners ready to learn, share and grow.
As one attendee put it, “I skipped the State Formation Day celebration to be here — and it was completely worth it!”

From Photo to Beyond: Unlocking New Opportunities
The morning kicked off with a welcome by Vipin Kala, Dscoop India Board Member and Founder of Kala Digital Imaging, followed by an engaging session by Ashish Vasudeva of HP. He highlighted the enormous potential for HP Indigo press owners to move beyond traditional wedding albums and explore new applications. Sanjay Sharma of Graphica Digital added real-world perspective, sharing how his business diversified to unlock growth.
The Power of Digital Marketing
Guest speaker Adarsh Arya, Founder of DigiBazzar in Varanasi, delivered a high-impact talk on digital marketing strategies for printers. From boosting revenue to capturing leads with smart, budget-conscious tactics, his insights were tailored to small and mid-sized businesses looking to compete more effectively in today’s digital-first landscape.

Interactive Learning and Lively Discussions
A roundtable session on “How to Sell Value Instead of Price” — led by Vipin Kala and Dscoop Community Success Manager Rashmi Sharma — encouraged participants to reflect on their unique strengths, define their ideal markets, and map new product ideas. Then came a standout panel discussion on “Collaboration Over Competition” featuring:
- Lakhwinder Singh and Kulbhushan Luther of G7 Printech, who shared how they teamed up with five competitors to build one thriving business together
- Vipin Kala and Sanjay Sharma, who spoke about leveraging Dscoop to form powerful industry alliances
The session sparked energy, inspiration and plenty of follow-up questions from the audience.

Local Flavors and Lifelong Friendships
Beyond the business learnings, the event also delivered powerful personal connections. Attendees bonded over a lunch of local delicacies, a cocktail dinner and a memorable second day exploring Varanasi — including a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath temple, breakfast by the Ganges River, and a scenic boat ride along the ghats.
As Neeraj Seth of Daya Printograph put it: “This meet has been exceptional — it combined work, spiritual reflection and new friendships. A rare and valuable experience.”
